Video Games!

I made the leap into designing software just over a year ago and really learned everything I know at this point on the job. I had no idea what went into designing software and the experience was really incredible. I've learned so much in one year than I have in a long time as an artist. And now I'm hooked! I want to design more games and I can't wait till the software division revs up again and I'm back to designing these things. It really is amazing. So if your kid's math skills need some assistance or you just wanted them to get ahead; pick up one of these games. Enjoy!

What’s Inside? Animal Houses

These fun toys were cool to work on since I had to keep in mind the materials everything was going to be made of. Even down to stroke size was considered. My favorite one is the dog. I think he came out the cutest. ;)

What Would You Do? Puppets

These are the "What Would You Do?" puppets I designed to teach kids how to manage their emotions. These were a really cool concept that were inspired by sesame street monsters. So, I got to pull up lots of awesome puppet inspiration and go down memory lane from when I was a kid in front of the old wooden furniture television with the turn dial watching Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch. (Hope I didn't date myself just then! O_O) Anyway, go down to your nearest Lakeshore store or visit online and pick this up.

Turtle Toss

This was probably one of the easier toys I've designed, but still put a lot into and came out really cute in the end. It's designed to teach babies important motor skills and hand/eye coordination. You can pick one of these wonderful toys up at your nearest Lakeshore Learning stores or online.

Peekaboo Boards

I helped design these fun peek-a-boo sets with a very talented illustrator and designer, Brandon Starr who is always so great to work with. I'm really lucky to know so many talented people that I can not only collaborate with but also learn a lot from as well. Hopefully, we'll get back to developing software soon so I can see what awesomeness comes out of Brandon's head.

Shake & Play Animal Buddies

These baby toys came a long way from concept to final product but resulted in the cutest baby toys EVER! I totally gushed when these were gifted to a friend of mine who just had a baby and she showed me a video of him laughing hysterically when they played with these. Made me one proud  designer.

In Stores NOW!

So the stuff I worked on last summer is finally in the Lakeshore stores and it feels pretty neat to see the stuff I've created completed and for sale online and in the shelves at the store. These were really awesome to work on and I had a lot of fun making them. I'm really looking forward to see the rest of the products I've worked on out there.
